Imagine you’re building a birdhouse; you’d find the right tree, and you’d build the birdhouse that’s the right size and configuration for the bird you want to attract to inhabit it. This is the metaphor that best describes the sculptures that I have been making. Except instead of birds I’m trying to attract something else entirely.
