Tulpa’s: Imaginary Friends & Sentient Oddities
Tulpa’s: Imaginary friends & Sentient oddities explores the limitations contemporary culture places on imagination, our senses and what is perceived to be real, normal and desirable. Borrowed from Tibetan Buddhism, the concept of a Tulpa is where an imagined being is created in the mind and experienced as a real sentient entity. Thought formations have potent potentiality and the works serve as visual incantations bringing to life aspects of an envisioned internal reality.
