‘How Do I Refer To You?’ Is a multidisciplinary Ceramics exhibition challenging Ceramic artists to translate the techniques, aspects and poetics only with the use of expanded materials. The exhibition explores the historical fluidity of mediumship in contemporary art making and researches the plasticity of discipline, decentralising Ceramics from its tradition of fired clay. With an accompanying publication from Australian writers, the entire group form curious and thought-provoking ideas on the transmutation of materiality in context.
