Sea Tooth (shhell)

Fruit ice confectionary, stolen shells in my yard which I in turn stole from my landlord to cast the inside of, a remake of the shelf in the toilet at work, a flea from my dream, rocks made from using those same shells to make impressions in bits of clay like teeth in gum. Rubber hats.

This is an emerging collection of objects and improvised structures that have pooled between two places of making. Dwelling particularly on notions of value and soft economies that exist just beneath the surface of community, Sea Tooth (shhell) comprises of both static and mobilised parts to explore both public and private modes of collective aesthetic experience.

Made between Broome/Yawuru and Sydney/Gadigal country.
